Dog therapy is an exciting way for young people to engage and connect with therapeutic supports. It creates opportunities to build skills in areas of relationship building, responsibilities and assists in the therapeutic relationship between young person and coach.

Dog Therapy is another excellent way to engage and support young people who haven’t responded to traditional interventions. Having a dog join in therapeutic sessions assists in creating a comforting and non-judgemental environment. Dogs show unconditional love to young people who may have had negative therapeutic experiences in the past.

This program can be tailored to support many varying needs and ages, aiming to work to specific goals.
