Tamsyn RoseOur Founding CEO
Our fearless leader and head honcho, Tamsyn founded the Get Real empowerment programs in 2009 and personally trained all our specialist facilitators for the Get Real adventures. An International Leader in Mental health, her many forms of mainstream training as a Child Youth and Family Practitioner, Therapist and Counselor and Community Services and Leadership Executive, blend perfectly to deliver Get Real in all its forms. A master of human development and bringing out the best in everyone she works with. Specialising in mental health, complex needs and family interventions and leading us all in this movement for change.
Kelsey Pearsall
Kelsey PearsallNational Manager
Kelsey was plucked from the world of special assistance schools, a dynamic Social Worker and leader in her field. Kelsey specialises in working with complex needs and managing the tough stuff. She is passionate about animals and witnessing the power of connection through a human-animal bond. Working across both QLD and NSW, Kelsey is leading our team of Wellbeing and support workers to achieve incredible outcomes with the families we support.
Zane Jones

Zane is an energetic all-rounder who has a deep passion for the development and empowerment of those around him. Coming from an elite athlete background and now Community Services, Zane does his best to combine an active and fun lifestyle with holistic health and wellbeing. Zane has a big focus on getting outside and moving but is driven by seeing young people express themselves in any way they can.

Having worked in administration in schools for over 20 years it was a natural transition for Mimi to join our dynamic team. She embraces every opportunity Get Real has offered to expand her capacity working with young people and being able to contribute to making their lives better. Her passion is her family having raised 3 children and delights in her 6 grandchildren.
Owen McCarron
Owen McCarronTeam Leader and Program Coordinator
Owen has been working with young people specialising in working with young people with multiple diagnosis and complex needs who might want alternative modes of support. Owen comes from an elite athlete background which fuels his passion for health both physical and mental. When Owen isn’t inspiring and providing support, he is completing his Marketing Degree at University and acts as a Mental Health Wellbeing Officer for his local sporting club. Owen loves activity-based therapy and camps through moving our bodies and getting out in nature whenever possible. Heading up our camps and programs to lead dynamic events that young people love.
Jimmy Radovanovic
Jimmy RadovanovicNorth QLD Team Leader
He is a fun, energetic and compassionate person who loves working with young people and their families. He is Townsville based and works with youth over the North Queensland region. Jimmy is studying Occupational Therapy and regularly integrates common OT strategies into his therapy and mentoring. He comes from a sporting background and loves to bring sports and physical activity into sessions.
Winston Hong
Winston HongNSW BJJ Mindset Coach
Winston brings his 8 years of BJJ coaching experience into Get Real and uses martial arts and physical activity as a way to communicate, connect and empower young people. Being an experienced coach, a keen eye for detail and a passion to improve young people’s lives, Winston specializes in running group and private BJJ classes and coaching sessions. Besides BJJ, Winston spends his time bouldering, playing basketball, wrestling or lifting weights. On rest days, he will be nerding out on video games or cooking a delicious homemade meal.

Charlie is a warm and easy-going individual with a keen interest in volleyball, track and field, and all things creative. He aims to inspire individuals toward their true potential by facilitating self-motivation. With a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), Charlie is dedicated to promoting mental health and well-being using his knowledge of the discipline. Charlie seeks to empower individuals through self-awareness, emotional resilience, and building healthy perceptions of themselves. As such, Charlie values continuous self-reflection involving meaningful conversations that contribute to a unique understanding of how to emotionally navigate the world.
Sandy Figota

Sandy is very passionate about the work that she does for young people and has worked in the school community for a few year prior to joining our Get Real team. Sandy has been a leader in the church from a very young age. She is an emerging social worker and aspires to help, guide and advocate for young people and their families. Sandy loves to creat a positive environment, through laughter, dance and singing. Her focus is to empower young people to live the life they aspire to live.

AngusTherapy Dog
Angus recently joined the Get Real Team and is our youngest team member! He loves to connect through cuddles and playing with squeaky toys. He likes to take his clients to his favourite parks or walk tracks. He works alongside Kelsey and has two big sisters at home who relax in the sun with Angus whenever he has a day off.
